G1 to G2 Package

Our G to G2  Package  are perfect for those who have just received their G1 license. It includes 10 hours of in-car training and a comprehensive theory course.

G2 to G Package

Our G2 to G Package is designed to help you prepare for your G driving test. It includes 5 hours of in-car training and a mock test.

Senior Driver Package

Our Senior Driver Package is designed for those over 65 who want to brush up on their driving skills. It includes 3 hours of in-car training and a theory course.

Manual Transmission Course

Our Manual Transmission Course will teach you how to drive a stick shift. It includes 2 hours of in-car training.

Road Safety Course

Our Road Safety Course is designed to teach you how to drive safely in a variety of road conditions. It includes 6 hours of in-car training and a theory course.

COURSES , CONTRACTS. Refund Policies

 

 (WE DO NOT ISSUE DRIVER'S LICENSE)  The information listed below  regarding the types of Licenses is for your information only.    ( WE DO NOT ISSUE DRIVER'S LICENSE)  Behind the Wheel Driving Lessons-Must have a Driver’s License. Required  shoes must be closed toe for safety while participating in these Behind the  Wheel Driving lessons. (These shoes and others are Prohibited while  participating in these Driving classes: toe glove shoes, house shoes, flip  flops, bare feet, and other open toe shoes. Please remember that proper  hygiene is essential, and that body odor is not only offensive but will not  be tolerated in these classes. No Weapons, No Bully policy, No cell phone  recordings of any kind. No Drugs or Alcohol etc., Please dress modestly  and come with hair clean and well groomed. (Course offers 2-  (6 )hour  Driver lessons packages (See the online pricing schedule) A contract must  be completed for any of the courses the student selects. The Adult  contracts are online. “At completion of less than noitwenty five percent (25%) of the program, the refunds shall be made on a  pro rata basis. At completion of 25% but less than 50% of the program, the student shall be refunded  not less than 50% of the tuition. At completion of 50% but less than 75% of the program, the student  shall be refunded not less than 25% of the tuition. Behind the wheel lessons

These lessons consist of 1 and half hours of behind the wheel lessons followed by a 10-minute Instructor /parent conference regarding the student's driving areas of concerns relating to the current driving lessons. Parents are asked to assit the student in the student’s skills areas of concern to strengthen them for the next lesson.

Students must wear proper shoes. (Flip flops, Toes shoes, House shoes etc. that may inhabit the student from driving safely are strictly prohibited). Students will not be allowed to participate in the Behind the wheel lessons. Poor hygiene- body order is offensive and will not be allowed at any time. In the classroom and Behind- the- Wheel lessons. Students who exhibit these poor hygiene conditions will not be allowed to participate in the

Behind-the- Wheel lessons. Students must call their rides to go home.

Our instructors do not guarantee that the student will successfully complete these Classroom and behind the wheel requirements within the designated times. The student's role is to participate daily and pass all exams including following the school rules. The instructor will consult with the parent/guardian if there is an area of concern before the student can participate in the next level of skills. The student's responsibility is to ensure that he does everything required to meet the standards needed to progress to the next level. It is understood that the student may need to repeat a class section. In other words, the student may be required to repeat a course to safely and confidently complete the requirements prior to moving to the next level. Driver Safety is of the utmost importance. Therefore, your Teen is enrolled in our School’s Safe Driving Practices and becoming a safe responsible driver is the goal of our school. Tutoring sessions are offered at a discount to assit the students in the areas where they may need extra help. Please see the tutoring packages on the Academies website. 

Cancellation and Refund Policy. This is the Arkansas State Refund and Cancellation Policy as printed on the web page our school must have a published cancellation and refund policy. The state requires certain minimum policies, including,

Full refund for students cancelling the contract within 3 days–not counting Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays.

Students who are not accepted get a full refund except for an application fee of up to $25.

Refunds must be made within 30 days after the student withdraws from the program or completes it, and proof of refund must be placed in the file.

Students may not be required to purchase instructional supplies until needed.

If a course is cancelled, refunds must be made immediately.

All tuition is refundable, except for a registration fee not to exceed $100. If a student withdraws when less than ¼ of the program is completed, the refund is calculated pro rata. If the student withdraws when the program is between ¼ and ½ completed, the refund is not less than 50% of the tuition. If the program is ½ to ¾ completed, the refund is 25%, and if the program is more than ¾ over, then no refund is required.

I willingly release  and hold harmless the JJOAN DRIVING ACADEMY, LLC for any Covid 19 virus and variation of the virus that may be contracted. Social Distancing as much as possible will be implemented. Following the CDC updated guidelines will be implemented. Daily temperature checks, mask wearing required, hand sanitizer provided, Clorox, Lysol Distancing procedures will be implemented. We will do all we can to keep our students, Staff protected. Students who refuse to comply with these requirements will be asked to leave to ensure the safety of others. Please be aware you may need to pick up your student in the event any of these requirements are refused.

ALL STUDENTS ARE REQUIRED TO FOLLOW THE PROPER FOOTWARE POLICIES AS STATED IN THEIR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL DRIVING LESSONS CONTRAC STUDENTS NOT WEARING THE CORRECT SHOES WHICH ARE CLOSED TOE WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THEIR BEHIND-THE-WHEEL DRIVING LESSONS THIS IS FOR SAFETY REASONS AND MUST RESCHEDULE THAT LESSON. THE MISSED LERSSON WILL NOT EXCEED (1) PICK UP TRANSPORTATION MUST BE PROVIDED WITH (15) MINUTES OR A $10.00 LATE PICK-UP FEE WILL BE CHARGED. SEE LATE FEES IN CONTRACT.

STUDENTS WHO CONSTANTLY ARRIVE WITHOUT THE PROPER CLOSED TOE SHOES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE BEHIND-THE-WHEEL DRIVING LESSONS SITE AND WILL BE CHARGED FOR THAT MISSED LESSON. PARENTS ARE ASKED TO PICK UP THEIR STUDENT WITHIN 15 MINUTES. 

WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR STUDENT. PLEASE MAKE PICK-UP TRANSPORTATION ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOUR STUDENT. 

WE HAVE OTHER LESSONS SCHEDULED AN WILL NOT BE INCONVIENCED BY WAITING BEYOND (15) MINUTES FOR LATE TRANSPORTATION PICK UP.

A LATE PICKUP FEE OF $10.00 will be charged.

State Requirements

This information listed below is a guide for the Graduated License types only to assist the Parents/Legal Guardians in understand the Learner's Permit or License process  through the State.  We do not issue licenses.

Learner’s and Intermediate License

The Graduated Driver License program was developed to allow teens to safely gain driving experience before obtaining full driving privileges (Act 394, 2009). This law provides for teen driver’s licenses in three levels: learner’s license, intermediate license and unrestricted/regular license. 

Learner’s license is for ages 14-15. The licensee is authorized to operate a motor vehicle if accompanied by a licensed driver 21 years of age or older. Eligibility for an intermediate license is contingent on no serious traffic violations or at fault accidents during the previous 6 months.

Intermediate license is for ages 16-17. The licensee is authorized to operate a non-commercial motor vehicle. At 18 years-of-age teens are eligible to apply for a regular, unrestricted, driver’s license, contingent on a clean driving record for the previous year.
